Frequently asked questions

The Switch and save discount is an additional £3 discount per month on eligible Airtime Plans when you switch from another network provider, purchasing eligible device and Airtime Plan and port your existing number over at point of sale.

Which devices and plans are eligible for Three’s Switch and save offer?  
The following devices are eligible for the Switch and save discount: 

  • Honor Magic V2
  • Honor Magic6 Pro
  • iPhone 14 
  • iPhone 15
  • Samsung Galaxy S23 FE
  • Google Pixel 8 
  • Google Pixel 7a
  • Motorola Razr 40 

To get the Switch and save discount, you’ll need to choose one of the above eligible devices, along with a Value or Complete Airtime Plan with Unlimited, 150GB, or 15GB data.  

If you take out a device or plan that’s not listed above, it won’t be eligible for the Switch and save discount. 

Firstly, you’ll need your Port Authorisation Code (PAC) from your current provider. This lets you move your number to a new network. See the ‘How do I get my PAC from my current network provider?’ FAQ below for more information.

When you go to check out on the Three website, you’ll be asked to enter your PAC before submitting the order. The PAC will be validated within a few seconds and if it’s successful, the Switch and save discount will be automatically applied to your basket. You should see the discount code displayed as GBP3 Discount.

The discount will appear on your Contract Summary and Contract Information documents once the purchase is complete.  The discount will also appear on your bill. 

If the discount does not show in your basket after you have entered your PAC, the discount hasn’t been applied. This could be because the device or plan you’ve chosen isn’t eligible, or the PAC wasn’t entered correctly. It’s worth double-checking all the details and trying again. Unfortunately, not. To receive the Switch and save discount, you’ll need to enter your PAC at the checkout before completing your order. If the number switch is made later, you won’t be able to benefit from the Switch and save discount. 

You can still switch to Three, leave your previous network provider, request a PAC from your previous network provider within 30 days of leaving and port your number across to Three. However, to benefit from the Switch and save discount, you must port your number via a PAC at point of sale. 

It’s simple and free – just text PAC to 65075 from the mobile number that you want to keep. You’ll receive your PAC in a reply within a minute, and it’ll be valid for 30 days.
